Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Aizawl. •Morning: On your arrival at Lengpui Airport, our representatives will receive you and give you a quick highlight of the tour and proceeds directly to the lodge. •Afternoon: Post lunch, explore Solomon’s Temple – grand white church overlooking the city and Mizoram State Museum – displays tribal heritage, costumes and crafts. •Evening: Explore Bara Bazar for local handicrafts and traditional clothes. •Overnight: Aizawl.
Day 2: Aizawl – Reiek Village (1.5 hrs drive) •Morning: Post breakfast, drive to Reiek Heritage Village and explore the Mizo Traditional Village Museum (replicas of old Mizo homes). Experience local Mizo cuisine at the heritage village restaurant •Afternnoon: Engage on a short trek to Reiek Peak (1.5 km) – offers stunning views of Aizawl valley and surrounding hills. •Eveniing: Head back to Aizawl for the dinner and overnight. •Overnight: Aizawl
Day 3: Aizawl – Hmuifang (2 hrs drive) •Morning: Start the early breakfast and drive through scenic pine-covered hills to exore Hmuifang Tourist Resort, perched at 1,600 m altitude. •Afternoon: Post lunch, visit nearby Sialsuk village to meet local farmers and artisans. Sunset viewpoint overlooking the rolling hills. •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Hmuifang Tourist Lodge
Day 4: Hmuifang – Thenzawl (2 hrs drive) •Morning: Post breakfast, drive to Thenzawl, known for its handloom & handicraft industry. Stop at Vantawng Waterfall (highest in Mizoram, 750 ft tall) •Afternoon: Visit Chawngchilhi Puk Cave – associated with local folklore. Explore Thenzawl Handloom Centre – watch Mizo weavers at work. •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Thenzawl Tourist Lodge
Day 5: Thenzawl to Aizawl (4 hrs ) Morning: Start your day with early break and drive back to Aizawl. Afternoon: Post lunch, explore the left out places in and around Aizawl City. Evening: Check in to the hotel for the dinner and overnight. Overnight: Aizawl
Day 6: Departure •Morning: Start your day early for the final departure. A quick stop at Handloom Emporium or KV Paradise (modern Mizo memorial museum) if required. •Afternoon: Our team will drop you at lengpui Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories. Bid adieu to our driver and guide. Trip ends.
