Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati (Assam) •Morning: On your arrival at Guwahati Airport / Rail Station, our representatives will receive you and give you a quick highlight of the tour and proceeds to hotel for the check-in. •Afternoon: Sightseeing in and around Guwahati City. •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati → Shillong (100 km / 3 hrs.) •Morning: Depart from Guwahati to Shillong. •Enroute: Short halt for the lunch & explore Uniam Lake Baranpani on the halfway. •Afternoon: Explore Ward’s Lake, Police Bazzar & Cathedral Church. •Evening: Explore daily local markets. •Overnight: Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong → Cherrapunjee (55 km / 2 hrs) •Morning: Post breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Wettest place on earth) •Afternoon: Explore Nohkalikai Falls & Seven Sisters Falls. •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Cherrapunjee
Day 4: Cherrapunjee – Nongriat (Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek) •Morning: Trek to Nongriat Village for Double Decker Root Bridge. •Afternoon: Trek back to the base camp. •Evening: Drive back to the hotel for the rest. •Overnight: Cherrapunjee.
Day 5: Dawki & Mawlynnong → Shillong •Morning: Start the day with early breakfast to explore dawki river. •Afternoon: Later, drive to Mawlynnong village (Asia’s cleanest village). •Evening: Drive back to Shillong to conclude the day. •Overnight: Shillong.
Day 6: Shillong → Guwahati (30 km / 2hrs) •Morning: Start your return journey to Dimapur. •Afternoon: Arrive at Guwahati City. •Evening: Our team will drop you at Guwahati Airport/Railway station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories. •Bid adieu to our driver and guide. Trip ends.
