Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati (Assam) •Morning: On your arrival at Guwahati Airport / Rail Station, our team will receive you and give you a quick highlight of the tour and proceeds to hotel for the check in. •Afternoon: Sightseeing in and around Guwahati City. •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Guwahati. Day 2: Guwahati → Cherrapunjee (150 kms / 4 hrs) •Morning: Post breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Wettest place on earth) •Afternoon: Explore Nohkalikai Falls & Seven Sisters Falls. •Evening: Arrive at Cherrapunjee and check-in to the hotel. •Overnight: Cherrapunjee
Day 3: Cherrapunjee – Nongriat (Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek) •Morning: Trek to Nongriat Village for Double Decker Root Bridge. •Afternoon: Trek back to the base camp. •Evening: Drive back to the hotel for the rest. •Overnight: Cherrapunjee. Day 4: Cherrapunjee → Mawlynnong (80 kms / 2 hrs) → Shillong ( 75 kms / 1.5 hrs) •Morning: Start the day with early breakfast to explore dawki river. •Afternoon: Later, drive to Mawlynnong village (Asia’s cleanest village). •Evening: Drive back to Shillong to conclude the day. •Overnight: Shillong.
Day 5: → Shillong Sight Seeing. •Morning: Post breakfast, pay a visit to Ward’s Lake & Cathedral Church Shillong. •Afternoon: Explore Police Bazzar, Don Bosco Museum & Elephant Falls. •Evening: Explore daily local markets. •Overnight: Shillong. Day 6: Shillong → Kaziranga (265 kms / 6 hrs) •Morning: Depart to Kaziranga National Park (World Heritage Site) •Afternoon: Halt on the halfway for the lunch and enjoy local assamese cusines. •Evening: Arrive at Kaziranga and check-in to the hotel. •Overnight: Kaziranga.
Day 07: Kaziranga National Park •Morning: Elephant safari in the Eastern Range (Agoratoli) of Kaziranga •Afternoon: After lunch, gear up for jeep safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga •Evening: Take a leisurely walk and soak in the calm surroundings. •Overnight: Kaziranga Day 8: Kaziranga→ Majuli. (140 kms / 4 hrs) •Morning: Start early for a long drive to Ziro (Arunachal Pradesh) •Afternoon: Lunch on the halfway followed by photography hours. •Evening: Walk through terrace paddy fields, bamboo grooves & sacred grooves. •Overnight: Ziro.
Day 11: Ziro Sightseeing Day. •Morning: Post breakfast, explore the Ziro valley areas. •Afternoon: Experience the village guided tour of Ziro villages. •Evening: Meet the unique and old aged apatani elders known for distinct facial tattoos & nose plugs. •Overnight: Ziro.
